About Us
Birmingham Jewish Housing Association Ltd (BJHA) was founded in 1991 as an independent organisation to meet the housing needs among the Jewish Community in Birmingham.
The organisation was set up to meet the housing, social and cultural needs of its residents - an aim that still drives it thirty years later.

We pride ourselves in working hard for our residents. All our energies are channelled towards meeting the needs of our residents. At BJHA, we are a social landlord that puts people and communities at the heart of its business.
BJHA works with our local authority partners to provide high quality sheltered as well as general needs accommodation services, which enable our residents to establish and maintain a home independently.

We also work in collaboration with West Midlands Fire Services (WMFS), West Midlands Police (The Police) and The Birmingham Jewish Recorder among others. All these collaborative efforts ensure that we are always maximising benefits for our residents by harnessing all the diverse services in our community and providing for the varying needs of our residents.

The scheme is also served by A & B Centre (for community social and cultural events), bus routes 27 and 47, Train Stations (Bournville Ln Station and Selly Oak station), River Rae, Heritage Walk, Cannon Hill Park, Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Morrisons, Farmfoods, Lidl, Aldi, Asda, Sainsbury's, Iceland, various Banks, many Convenience Stores and much more.​
